Peanut chutney Recipe


Ingredients

  • Peanuts - 1 small cup (roasted or not roasted both will do)
  • Red chilli powder or whole red chillies : As required
  • Garlic - 4-5 cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons of Namkeen sev or boondi to add a yummy texture to the Chutney
  • 2 table spoons of yogurt 
  • Water as required to grind
  • Mustard and curry leaves for tempering

Procedure

  • Grind all the ingredients together to a coarse paste, very less grainy texture of peanuts
  • Adjust the consistency of the chutney to your liking
  • Temper with Ghee, mustard seeds and Curry leaves
  • Keep in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes
  • Serve with crispy dosas, Appe or idlis
