Peanut chutney Recipe
Ingredients
- Peanuts - 1 small cup (roasted or not roasted both will do)
- Red chilli powder or whole red chillies : As required
- Garlic - 4-5 cloves
- Salt to taste
- 2 Tablespoons of Namkeen sev or boondi to add a yummy texture to the Chutney
- 2 table spoons of yogurt
- Water as required to grind
- Mustard and curry leaves for tempering
Procedure
- Grind all the ingredients together to a coarse paste, very less grainy texture of peanuts
- Adjust the consistency of the chutney to your liking
- Temper with Ghee, mustard seeds and Curry leaves
- Keep in refrigerator for 20-30 minutes
- Serve with crispy dosas, Appe or idlis
